Chef Brandon Thompson is a Le Cordon Bleu–trained yacht chef with a decade of fine-dining restaurant experience and five years cooking professionally at sea. His culinary background includes training under Michelin-starred and James Beard Award–winning chefs, giving him a refined foundation that shapes his clean, ingredient-driven approach.
Brandon has served as sole chef aboard charter yachts up to 130’, traveling through the Caribbean, Bahamas, and U.S. East Coast while crafting menus tailored to each guest. Primarily French-trained with global influences, he centers his cooking around seasonal ingredients and balanced, thoughtful flavors, with the skill to navigate allergen-sensitive requests as needed.
In the galley, Brandon is upbeat, easy-going, and hard-working—known for his energetic presence, meticulous attention to detail, and the consistently high standard he brings to every service. From the first bite to the last, guests are consistently wowed by his cuisine and the experience he creates at sea.
